We suffer when our analytical map is mistaken for the reality of the living territory. Attention shapes what we perceive. Reality is relational rather than mechanical. Consciousness can not be fully reduced to matter. Truth requires both scientific and direct experience. Reality is deeper, more interconnected, more conscious, and more mysterious than the modern materialist worldview allows.

Nonviolent Communication asks “How can I come alive and contribute to the wellbeing of myself and others?” It is a compassionate giving opportunity fueled from the heart rather than egoic greed, aversion, or delusion.

Keeping the peace becomes costly when you sacrifice essential parts of yourself such as authenticity and integrity with your core nature and values. Avoiding conflict may keep the peace in the short term, but incur long term damage to self-respect, clarity, and awareness.
