THE ZEN OF VENN
2 IDEAS FROM ME
The Zen of Venn is about living mindfully awake in the center of universal virtues such as humanity, transcendence, wisdom, courage, prudence, and justice. Living from this sacred overlap of what is right, kind, and true across all philosophies honors differences, enabling us to live from common ground. We ask not, “What is the true religion or philosophy?” but “What is the true way to live?” Wholeness comes not from choosing sides, but from holding them together in harmony.
It’s possible to hold multiple worldviews in your evolutionary journey to escape Plato’s Cave. Pascal’s Wager, James’s Will to Believe, and Universal Virtue are three examples compared below.
2 QUOTES FROM SAGES
“We cannot escape the issue by remaining sceptical and waiting for more light, because, although we do avoid error in that way if we are right in waiting, we lose the truth if we are wrong in waiting.”—Willian James (The Will to Believe)
“We believe that there are six universal virtues: wisdom, courage, humanity, justice, temperance, and transcendence. These are valued across cultures and time.”
— Martin Seligman (From the VIA Classification of Character Strengths)
