THOUGHTS ON THINGS
2 IDEAS FROM ME
Wisdom comes not from trying to control reality, but from directly accepting and experiencing it from your true awake awareness nature using both hemispheres of your brain. The left focuses on analysis, categorization, control, abstraction, and manipulation. The right perceives wholes, relationships, context, meaning, living systems, and direct experience.
We suffer when our analytical map is mistaken for the reality of the living territory. Attention shapes what we perceive. Reality is relational rather than mechanical. Consciousness can not be fully reduced to matter. Truth requires both scientific and direct experience. Reality is deeper, more interconnected, more conscious, and more mysterious than the modern materialist worldview allows.

"The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable."—James A. Garfield
